Terms of Service

Acceptance
By using Six Degrees, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Accounts and permitted use
Six Degrees is for personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for activity associated with your account and agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with normal operation, or use automated systems to abuse app features.
Pro subscriptions
Six Degrees offers optional auto-renewing monthly and annual Pro subscriptions through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Any trial or promotional offer is subject to the eligibility and terms shown by Apple at purchase.
Features and availability
Daily challenges, statistics, and other features may change. We may update, suspend, or remove features to improve reliability, security, and service quality.
Intellectual property
The app software, Six Degrees branding, and original content are owned by 5Tree and its licensors. Third-party movie and actor metadata and imagery remain owned by their respective rights holders. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, 5Tree is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection law. These terms are interpreted under the laws applicable to 5Tree except where mandatory law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
